As escalating violence devastates Sudan, the United Nations food agency warned the warring groups that widespread starvation and death in the Darfur region is imminent if humanitarian aid isn’t allowed to enter. Mathilde Vu, a Norwegian Refugee Council advocacy manager for Sudan, says ‘the country is collapsing in front of us.’
