The U.S. isn’t the only country concerned about Indian intimidation and threats on home soil.

Since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stood up in the House of Commons this fall accusing agents of the Indian state of orchestrating the murder of Nijjar, several other countries have come forward.

David Akin has more on India’s growing assertiveness under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

  1. Look at this non stop distraction reporting on India when we actively have a crumbling country from an establishment blaming others, rewriting history, on going election meddling thought multiple cycles all while media plays cover

  2. It’s not separatism it’s kinda like when the south rebelled in America get it? Aka treason Also ofcourse Canada will protect its minority vote bank ???

  3. Looks like there are more bingo cards on the table than previously so to speak. Cannot figure what advantage such actions presents for India since they are already in an ongoing situation on their border with china amidst other diffucult political positioning.
Could prove to become more of a problematic matter for Canada regarding this Kalistan matter amidst other in house divisions plus other matters abroad growing in number.
That which grows the economy at this point rather than raise the costs of living would be a better course, but uncertian as to what or how..
This nation does seem to be weaker in stature on the world stage right now.
What they have done in parliment hill seems to be trimming back that was canadian culture and patriotism rather than reinforce it by the sounds of many a typed text on social media platforms, but do not have eyes and ears unto the grand design nor playbook here.
Change on many levels no doubt, hoping for the actual betterment of Canada as a whole rather than torn apart and distributed to conquerors…
Do not know what to expect, but can see in some peoples eyes a sense of loss and struggle.

“It is said that no one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.” – Nelson Mandela ??

  5. Global News, stop maligning Indian government. On what basis you are directly alleging Indian PM has a militant hindu agenda? What evidence you have?
And about espionage? Have you guys forgotten the "2 Michael's" already? Is that not embarrassing enough for your government?

  6. Canada is interfering in Indian politics by encouraging anti India forces including separatists on its own soil. Another fact is that India's strongest actions against Sikh separatism occurred long before Modi's party ever came to power, in the 80s, and there is no connection between India's stance on Sikh separatism and the ideology of the current government.

  7. I need more information before jumping on any bandwagons but I think highly of Sikh people. Canada can seem a bit nefarious in its dealings sometimes so if this were chess, taking things at face value might be a bad move. As a Canadian citizen the best military strategy would be for us to ENSURE safe housing, clean water, healthy food, quality education, and full health care for everyone, while planning future development to be in harmony with the Earth and with each other.

  8. Modi is dangerous not just for Canada, but for entire world. His parent organization RSS was created based on N@zi ideology. I won't be surprised if rest of the world works with China in future to get rid of him.

  9. Remember when Jagmeet Singh gave a speech to a group of Sikhs, in which he seemed to suggest that Sikh culture was superior and that violence could be a legitimate means for Sikhs to establish their own nation?

  10. The hundreds of thousands of Diaspora Sikhs voting and have voted in the ongoing Punjab(Khalistan) Referendum are originally people from Punjab and Haryana States.
These Diaspora Sikhs voting in the Referendum have their fathers, mothers brothers, sisters and relatives living in Punjab & Haryana….in whose favour do you think these Punjabis will vote?
If any clown is going to suggest that only the Diaspora Sikhs are asking for an independent Sikh State for ALL PUNJABIS in the Punjab region of South Asia is only bluffing himself/herself.
Almost all Punjabis in Punjab State and surrounding areas will voted favourable for a separate an independent State from India.
    1. Try holding a Referendum in Punjab State, India is afraid.
    2. Why is India afraid, running around and crying trying to stop the Referendum in countries where true democracy is practised and preached if the ongoing Referendum in the Diaspora is not affecting India?
    3. 1,600,000(1.6 million) Diaspora Sikhs who are 18 yrs old and above have already voted in the ongoing Referendum being conducted by Punjab Referendum Commission(PRC).

  11. Now i could spotte khalistan land area in somewhere in canada ?? in future, hilarious ? thanks canada you are playing with fire sorry volcano ?, as indian "we support khalistan in canada territory"
