I was in the e.r. at the ottawa general a few years ago, with a family member who had appendicitis. The triage nurse refused to take her seriously thought it was an act or something. Well her appendix ended up bursting after we had been wa8ting about 10 hours. Completely insane level of incompetence here in ottawa.
