Californians are bracing for the potential impact of their first tropical cyclone in more than eight decades: Hurricane Hilary.
Hilary is expected to touch down in the Golden State this weekend with wind speeds reaching up to 230 kilometres per hour, and may even pass through western Mexico.
Though the storm is expected to slow down quickly, the World Meteorological Organization says the warming of the sea surface temperature is feeding its strength.

Wow it’s gonna be a disaster!
Thanks China?? for continued
– building more and more coal-fired power plants, and
– burning more and more fossil fuel
Geoengineered weather warfare.
Guess they did not buy enough Tesla's
We need to take action on the climate crisis if we want humanity to make it to the next century.
If we do not take major action this will only escalate, with deadly and devastating results.
What an irony for California to be Hilaried….
Here we go again, it's the gloating news.
Always about negativity and one-sided narrathey are all a bunch of criminals.
If you dont have correspondants ,i wont believe a word from that .
WE all need to slow down .
Wow it'd be crazy if for some reason a wildfire broke out in socal right now and the hurricane winds burnt it all down ? ? ?
Lock her up
If it’s’ called Hillary nothing good can come from it.
Newsom will have the worst response, as always.
This place is total chaos when a normal storm hits, i can't imagine what this things going to do. Socal is not ready for this, its going to be nasty.
All deaths from hurricane Hillary are considered accidental or self endings
That will wash away your homeless situation.
Is global warming to be blamed again though?
What could be the first tropical storm in 80 years. What this means is that this has happened before. Not something new due to the undefined "climate change" of the left wing climate alarmists.
This could be a movie, hey? Patrick Bateman from "American Psycho" (Newsom) vs Geoengineering. Either way, bye California, I don't think the rainbows are going to help you here.
Pay close attention to how Gavin Newsome mishandles hurricane hillary (clinton) and how Biden ignores it.
Pay very close attention. This will either solidify Trump's win or put Cali underwater.
Either way, it's a win.
Don't worry. After the damage from the hurricane, Biden will send aid……
…to Ukraine.
Such a hilarity for the Hurricane Hilary to swep across California, especially during the dry season. ?
People one day will understand the Wrath Of God ? hopefully your home is built on solid ground. Everyone then, who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. ~Jesus~
