In Diamond Valley, the celebrations will begin with a toonie swim at the Dr. Lander Memorial Swimming Pool. Enjoy games, prizes, and multiple swim sessions throughout the day. As the evening approaches, head over to the Oilfields Arena for a DJ set and fireworks display after dark.
DEWINTON: Pancakes and Live Entertainment
If you’re in Dewinton, start your Canada Day with a delicious pancake breakfast at the Dewinton Hall. The event will also feature live music, face painting, collector cars, and a quilt raffle with proceeds going to Rowan House. It’s a great way to kick off the day with your community.
BLACKIE: A Day of Family Fun
In Blackie, the celebrations begin bright and early with a pancake breakfast at the Blackie Hall followed by an exciting parade. The day will be filled with entertainment, a petting zoo, bouncy castles, a farmers market, and more at Lions Park. Don’t miss the fireworks show to wrap up the day with a bang.
