“Get ready for a jam-packed Canada Day long weekend in Toronto! From the Toronto Pride Parade to Canada Day fireworks, there’s plenty to see and do. Here’s what you need to know about the road closures this weekend as you navigate the city.

## Toronto Pride
Tens of thousands of people will flock to the city core for the Pride Parade on Sunday, along with other Pride Festival activities throughout the weekend. Church Street and Wellesley Street East will be closed to vehicular traffic to accommodate the events. From the Trans March to the Dyke March, various road closures will be in effect, so plan your route accordingly.

On Sunday, rolling road closures will take place to make way for the massive Pride Parade. Be aware of closures on Rosedale Valley Road, Park Road, Church Street, Bloor Street East, and more. All closures are expected to end by 8 p.m. on Sunday.

## Canada Day Fireworks at Ashbridges Bay
Thousands are expected to attend the fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay on July 1. Parking enforcement will be increased, so prepare for major delays. Consider taking public transit, as parking will be restricted in the area. The TTC will provide extra bus service on select routes to accommodate the crowds. Remember, alcohol and personal fireworks are not allowed on the beach.

## Harbourfront Centre Concerts
If you’re heading to the waterfront, be aware of partial closures around the Harbourfront Centre for two free concerts. Canadian artists Tyler Shaw and Fefe Dobson will perform on June 28, followed by a theatre show from CORPUS on June 29. Pedestrian access to the boardwalk will be restricted during these events.

As you enjoy the Canada Day weekend festivities, keep in mind the road closures and plan ahead for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Celebrate diversity, community, and culture while embracing the vibrant spirit of Toronto. Happy Canada Day!”
