Video shows bus smash into couple’s vehicle in Windsor

Windsor Police have charged a bus driver following a collision with an SUV last week the moment of impact was captured on dash Can video and as CV sanj Maru reports it’s prevented one of the occupants of the SUV from being able to work it’s just been a month that I had the dasham and it’s already come in handy for Mish katada he his wife and brother were driving in an SUV on the afternoon of June 19th heading toward college and Wellington Avenue when a school bus enters the intersection from the right and collides directly into them KRA says the Collision left him and his brother with minor injuries but for his wife she was diagnosed with mild concussion a closer look at the traffic lights shows the bus appearing to run a red light officials say three students from Assumption Catholic Middle School were on the bus at the time of the Collision but for fortunately none were injured the company which owns the bus has placed the driver on administrative leave and says it is conducting an internal investigation according to Windsor Police the bus driver has been charged for running a red light my brother’s initial reaction was it was my fault because the school bus would never do that I doubted myself for a second that if is it just really me I didn’t uh pay attention to the road or something but when I got the dash cam footage out of my dash cam that’s when I realized that no it was the bus that r and the red light KRA Gada says his wife works in India and at the time of this Collision they were heading to the airport so she could fly back to her job but those plans have now been pushed back to allow her time to recover GATRA gadada says it could take his wife as long as 2 months to get back to normal Sanjay Maru CTV News
