but you have to wonder if any of that is going on behind the scenes whether they in fact are discussing his leadership you know what they are they most certainly are behind the scenes I think the question going forward is does that conversation move into public view so far we’ve had a lot of backbenchers in particular throughout the last 24 hours for me in the GTA in Southwestern Ontario who are reaching out some of them specifically saying the Prime Minister needs to resign this week traditionally those MP have been very loyal to the Prime Minister who brought them from the doldrums of 2011 to the glory of 2015 there hasn’t really been any signs of a possible Mutiny even with their sustained sinking in public opinion polls over the last number of months I think the possibility exists after today’s stunning loss for that to change for some of those conversations to come into public view particularly if the polls continue in this way going forward
