playing in the Canadian Market can be difficult but we love it we love playing in Emon the fans make it great when you’re winning there it’s one of the best places to play across the league McDavid started playing hockey as a toddler at just three he practiced on Rollerblades in his family’s basement as The Story Goes his parents saw his skill early and told a fib at their local rank adding 2 years to his age saying he was five so he could play with other kids at that age in his hometown of New Market Ontario uh I’m Conor MC David I go to a premier Elite Athletics Collegiate when I look back on my career and everything that’s gone on I just think about my family and friends and all the people that have gotten me here and feel very blessed

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid says the fans in Alberta’s capital are what make the city “one of the best places to play.” McDavid spoke to Canada Tonight host Travis Dhanraj in December and reflected on his NHL career so far.
