Sea otter pup rescued in BC ? #AnimalRescue

[Music] all right yeah you know what do you want to do scale of 1 to 10 cuteness probably at 20 our newest patient here at the rescue center is a neonatal seaotter pup she is approximately you know only a few weeks old Rehabilitation of uh seaotter pops is very intensive 24-hour care we are feeding her every 2 hours we’re swimming her so she can kind of get some some action going we are also grooming her something that their moms will be doing in the wild so we’re we’re grooming her and she’s also teaching her how to groom she’s actually starting to groom a little bit herself which is really great to see and it’s basically repeat it’s just she’s a baby eat sleep repeat uh for her for 24 hours a day [Music]

An orphaned sea otter pup found on Vancouver Island is the latest addition to the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre. The yet-to-be-named pup was found in critical condition near Tofino and the aquarium’s team are cautiously optimistic she’ll be able to be rehabilitated and released when she’s a little older.
