Ecuadorian student becomes youngest graduate at University of Toronto since 1979

really excited of course um honored to be graduating he’s not the only one that’s excited Danielle huk Menendez has captivated an entire community at University of Toronto including his professors I saw him coding one day I realized that the way his brain works is definitely not how my brain works I never realized how absolutely special he was so special that he’s making history huk Menendez is graduating with a major in mathematics and a specialty in physics with high distinction now for the history making part I’m 16 years old and I’m the youngest to graduate from the University yeah aka the youngest graduate from uf’s faculty of Arts and Science since 1979 think about what your life was like when you were 12 years old you were probably getting through middle school meeting up with friends well hanuk mandez was attending his first year of University back home in Ecuador virtually during the first year of covid-19 I had an early entrance into grade school and I was around 4 years old and so then the the school they recommended me to apply to this program at J University Center for talented youth um where I could take more advanced courses so I did the entrance exams got into that by 10 he took the SAT and skipped four grades to get to Junior High by 12 a high school diploma and an acceptance letter from the University of Toronto he was on executive team for the physics Society where everyone else was you know at least 6 5 years older than him and he belonged what kept Him aiming higher all these years my mom’s she’s really been an inspiration like she’s really been like my emotional support during these past four years huk Menendez has earned a full right to pursue his Masters in Quantum science and technology in Italy France and back again at UFT after that he’s hoping for a PhD and if you’re feeling a bit uh underachieving after hearing his story ANUK Mendez says he only hopes to inspire not discourage or as he’d like to say in [Music] Spanish Global News

An international student from Ecuador will be among thousands of graduates to walk the stage at the University of Toronto’s convocation this year.

Daniel Honciuc Menendez is graduating with a major in mathematics and a specialty in physics — and he’s just 16-years-old.

As Noor Ra’fat explains, he hopes his story will inspire other young people.

He should return to his Country as a patriot to make Ecuador better, We have enough Canadian promising graduated students to Make Canada Great Again with jobs which should be created by next Conservative government for smart Canadians conservative young generation.
