  1. Our government has decided that owning stocks and real estate is more important than fixing the economy and saving the middle class. you are now either poor or rich. no in-between

  2. Meanwhile back in 2017….. Trudeau was promising fixes in housing. That's only 7 years ago, don't forget the government orchestrated the influx of immigrants in 2022 and rightly knew housing was an issue but didn't care which means it's intentional.

  3. Morons. You voted for the Liberals. They're excessive spending has increased inflation and obsession with immigration is causing housing costs to increase. Worse still is that he blames landlords for the prices rather than himself. And YOU believe him!!! His own MPs have been proven to be criminals.

  4. Even rural AB has sky rocketed in the past year. You could get a nice fancy 2 bed for 1200 now it went up 400 becasue immigration pushed out to the rural towns.

  5. Rent control and rent freeze are bad for renters long term. It forces some landlords to sell, reducing the supply of rental units and in the long run causes overall rent increase due to decreased supply. Government intervention often leads to poor result, it’s best to let the free market do its job.
