  1. It seems to be an airbus 319-321 series. Based on what I can see, the fire started where ground power cable connects to aircraft and im willing to bet, the issue was with the cable itself and not the aircraft. I also hope the ground personnel had the wherewithall to shut down the power going to the cable.

  2. For all those saying it was a lithium battery no it wasn’t. This was a fault with either the plug from ground power/ power cart or the socket on the plane that the cable plugs into.
