Upper Canada Mall hosting job fair for 100+ positions

“The Upper Canada Mall is turning 50 this year and they’re celebrating in a big way by giving back to the community. With a generous $50,000 donation to the Southlake Foundation, the mall is showing their dedication to supporting local organizations and initiatives.

A Legacy of Giving Back

Since opening its doors in 1974, the Upper Canada Mall has been a cornerstone of the community, providing a space for shopping, events, and most importantly, giving back. Over the years, the mall has partnered with various organizations, including the Southlake Regional Health Centre, to make a positive impact in the community.

Looking Towards the Future

As the mall celebrates its 50th anniversary, Director and General Manager Ryan Da Silva reflects on the growth and evolution of the region. With expansions and developments over the years, the mall has continued to be a hub for the community, bringing people together and supporting important causes.

A Birthday Party to Remember

To mark this milestone, the Upper Canada Mall is hosting a birthday party on May 25th and 26th. With festivities including party games, prizes, a retro photo booth, and more, the half-century celebration promises to be a memorable event for all. Additionally, a visual timeline and a large gold 50 structure will be available for photo opportunities until the end of June.

Continued Support and Gratitude

President and CEO of the Southlake Foundation, Jennifer Ritter, expresses her gratitude for the ongoing support from the Upper Canada Mall. The partnership between the two organizations has allowed for advancements in healthcare and access to leading-edge care for the community.

As the celebrations continue, it’s important to recognize the impact that organizations like the Upper Canada Mall have on the community. By giving back and supporting important causes, they are helping to create a better future for all. Here’s to the next 50 years of growth, collaboration, and community empowerment.”
