In the early hours of Thursday, University of Toronto students and protesters knocked down the fencing around King’s College Circle and put up dozens of tents for a peaceful demonstration demanding that the university divest tags with certain Israeli companies in light of the conflict in Gaza.

The encampment is the latest of many across North America in solidarity with pro-Palestinian protests.

“We support the demands of the occupation and Palestinian liberation and freedom,” Deb Cowen, a Jewish professor at UofT said.

Jaden Lee-Lincoln reports.

  1. Normalize worker co-operatives and ?ctive unions. The people make the workplace run, the workplace should be (owned and) run by the people?. This is democracy.??????????????

  2. Ill say the same thing my Uncle just said to me. (American veteran.)

Its the 1960's all over again and if history has taught us anything all these protests are doing is helping Republicans win the next election.
    Or in our case Conservatives.

So I guess I should just say ,
    Thank you.
