Chloë Bonnet and Zeeggy Mercy initially bonded over the lack of diversity in Ottawa’s dance scene. They teamed up with Mercy’s brother, filmmaker Benjamin Shimwa, and other dancers who’d felt excluded to create ‘Steps to Inclusivity,’  a video celebrating different dance styles and backgrounds for CBC Ottawa’s Creator Network.
