  1. The GST should be the only tax. You pay tax on what you buy, every other tax is eliminated. No more income tax, CRA, lots of useless government jobs eliminated, no loop holes, no way to cheat, no confusion. If Brian Mulroney had done that the Conservatives would still be in power instead of being almost wiped out in 1993.

  2. Oh no no no. Remember our supreme leader was who Canadians thought we needed in power. Now we all have to deal with our choices. Don’t like these then speak up and demand an election.

  3. It’s funny all of a sudden deficit spending without raising taxes on the wealthy doesn’t sound like a bad idea does it? But oh no, we can’t do that because we gotta pay for what we spend. ?

  4. It's not just Dr.'s You can kiss small business goodbye and that family cottage you think you will leave your children ? Ya right ! It will affect all Canadians with assets in Canada.

  5. It's pretty rich listening to Trudeau, a wealthy, silver-spoon fed trust fund baby, talk about fairness in paying tax. Considering his net worth has significantlt ballooned over the past nine years as PM, taking $100K vacations and other lavish spending.

    Completely out-of-touch, and delusional. GTFO.

  6. Doctors are well paid compared to other tax payer funded professions in Canada. There is nothing wrong in paying higher taxes for what they earn. Besides, in the '90s the inclusion rate used to be 75% and the current 66.6% is still lower than all time high.

  7. Who could have guessed this would affect doctors!?
Trudeau really knows how to ruin everything in a few simple steps.
Cant pretend to care about our healthcare when you actively make it less marketable to even think about becoming a doctor.

  8. JT the theatre teacher and Freeland the journalist. Did anyone really think these two might be able to come up with a workable, balanced (lol) budget? Expecting way too much. Crayons and art paper would be more their thing. Like JT said to the effect some years back “the budget will take care of it’s self. The sooner JT and his enabler Jagmit are shown the door the better.
