The GST should be the only tax. You pay tax on what you buy, every other tax is eliminated. Doctors are well paid compared to other tax payer funded professions in Canada. There is nothing wrong in paying higher taxes for what they earn. Besides, in the '90s the inclusion rate used to be 75% and the current 66.6% is still lower than all time high.
