The German Chancellor came to Canada seeking natural gas . Trudeau is not interested in building natural gas pipelines or LNG infrastructure. Canada could have had a $100 billion deal with Germany to supply natural gas. That would have provided jobs for Canadians and wealth for Canada. The EU has now classified natural gas and nuclear power as green energy. Natural gas is a clean-burning fuel. So Canada by supplying natural gas to Germany would allow them to reduce coal use and Canada would have benefitted from the deal.
