  1. ???? “Been that way for 30 years.” – U.S. Justice Department on the lack of Human Rights in Oklahoma County Jail, 2020

“Makes me feel human again after this place.” – Oklahoma City Art Museum review after life in the local shelters (20+ years in the making), 2024

“It is said that no one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.” – Nelson Mandela ??

  2. I wonder why Steve Fonyo, an amputee himself like Terry Fox, is never remembered. Inspired by Terry's example, at the age of 18 he ran across Canada reaching the Pacific in 425 days. He raised 14 million dollars for the Cancer Society.

  3. "Native" in the headlines, and "Native" in the name of the organization – NWAC yet the leader isn't Native, there are hardly any Native employees, no connections to local Natives or Elders, hardly any Native women participations and yet

Exorbitant amounts are being spent on maintaining the representation of a single individual instead – the CEO instead of engaging with real Natives.

Stereotypes and assumptions are harmful. Natives aren't wasting this money!

The mental health of employees is especially important now. What about them?

It's not just about rules, it's about doing what is right for the people you serve.

  4. and sitting atop the money laundering pile is Canada's head corrupt scammer JT. If FINTRAC was doing their job he wouldn't still be sitting in his ivory tower on parliament hill.

  5. This is a odd comment for me , I want to say Congrats to Eddy on your many years of support for terry and funds raised for support the fight against cancer. My condolences goes to his family and friends. I hope you will find peace and your Friend on the other side.

  6. OJ was aquitted of the murders but was assessed $33 million in a civil suit. Is there a lawyer out there? I've been wondering something. If somehow it was found that OJ really WAS innocent of the killings, what would happen to the civil suit. Would Fred have to give back the 33 million $$? Or is that considered a separate suit and Fred would get to keep the money even if OJ were innocent.?? No one has ever answered this question.

  7. sorry, it's kind of cringe when the govt's highest paid employees, with massive pensions, are grilling Bell over firing journalists for cutting losses. Almost all MSM is on the left anyways and doesn't report on conservatives (unless it's crime). They could fire half of the remaining journos and still we'd see the same news as we;re seeing now.

  8. When conscription becomes unpopular in Ukraine, it's time for the West to start withdrawing their support for them. Over time it has become apparent that they would rather have the West fight for them and pay for their war. When Israel became a state, all its men fought to survive. When October 7th happened, even Israelis living abroad returned voluntarily to fight against Hamas. Ukrainians haven't learnt what it means to fight for freedom. It's time to withdraw support for them and let them understand what it means to fight for their own survival.

As for Zelensky's assertion that they are fighting for the West and that if Ukraine loses, Russia will attack other European nations, that is nonsense. Russia will never attack a NATO member, knowing that NATO is a nuclear powered organization and they have no chance of winning a war against NATO.
