  1. For 2 years now Ukraine has bravely and skillfully held off the Russian army all by themselves buying the rest of Europe time to prepare for Russia's next "3 day special military operation" The world owes them a lot for this and we need to get the supply lines moving again to Ukraine.

  2. If you believe Trudeau, then you are delusional. Nothing will change and we will not be spending on defense. We are too focused on social issues to actually defend ourselves. When will we actually upgrade the northern early warning system as per our Norad and Nato commitment?? Probably years from now. Imagine the DEW line (distant early warning system) was built very quickly in the 50's. We just take too long to get anything done now.

  3. Really? Our troops can’t find housing but they can get all the tampons they need. That’s good spending for OUR military? How much has Ukraine been given this year, 5 billion and how much for the Canadian military?

  4. We have enormous problems here in Canada, if people want to support Ukraine I say they have the right in a free country to spend “their money” as they wish and can donate it for Ukraine. Also they can send “their sons and daughters” to Ukraine or volunteer themselves for the war. Leave my tax dollars and children out of this mess.

  5. It's time to step up our defense spending. 4% is not going to be a burden on any single Canadian. Let's develop more jobs building the weapons at home. The type 26 Frigates are being built in Canada and providing jobs. Bombardier is a company that could also be a partner in advanced avionics development. We need to utilize our talents at home to partner with the EU and NATO nations. It could be an excellent way for Airbus to develop a military program.

  6. This coalition government is too busy laundering money to actually care about the NATO requirements or to be concerned at all about the current state of Canada. Ridiculous inflation, lack of housing, lack of healthcare, too much unfettered immigration and refugees have turned Canada in to the world’s ashtray. Turdo has all of the world leaders laughing at him and Canada and it’s a disgrace. Turdo/Jughead must go!
