Parents have custodial rights over their children until they come of age. Media coverage of this legislation and Danielle's message have been gravely misinterpreted by mainstream media and her political opposition. These are precisely the people from which our children deserve protection. Groomers and influencers have no right to interfere with impressionable young minds.

Among the remaining fraction of a per cent, 7,305 are transgender Albertans — 3,420 transgender men and 3,880 transgender women. Of those 7305, only 478 are minors. And only a tiny fraction of those minors have taken steps to change gender. The majority of that 478 just claim to be. This is census data from 2021 And I’m going to take a wild guess and say, the majority of those 478 minors that claim to be trans are lying or being lied to by a trusted adult or teacher. So let’s quit selling the drama! This issue is justifiably stupid! And it’s embarrassing that we need legislation to counter this ridiculous ideology.
