“Meet Ariel, the incredible six-legged spaniel who underwent a life-changing surgery. This amazing pup was found abandoned in a supermarket parking lot, but now, after her surgery, she is bounding through the grass just like any other dog.

The Incredible Journey of Ariel

Found with multiple birth defects in Pembroke, Wales, Ariel was taken in by Greenacres Rescue, who raised funds for her surgery. The Langford Vets Small Animal Referral Hospital, part of the University of Bristol, took on the challenge of operating on this unique pup.

A Remarkable Transformation

The surgery, which involved removing the extra limbs that extended from her right hindquarter, was a first for the hospital. Despite the complexity of the operation, Ariel is now living her best life, running through the hospital lawn with the determination and joy of any other dog.

A Thought to Ponder

Ariel’s story is a reminder of the resilience and strength of animals. Despite the obstacles she faced, she came out the other side stronger and full of life. It’s a testament to the incredible work done by animal rescue organizations and veterinary hospitals.

This remarkable journey is one that will inspire and remind us of the unconditional love and spirit of our four-legged friends.”
