The driver of a suspect vehicle involved in a stabbing incident in Dartmouth, N.S., is currently in hospital after a police pursuit that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
Initial Incident
Halifax Regional Police (HRP) initially received a call about a stabbing at Lake City Motel, 40 Lake Crest Dr., around 3 a.m. After arriving at the scene, police found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed. The man was swiftly transported to a hospital due to life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later discovered abandoned on Wyse Road.
The Police Chase
Following the incident, the suspect’s vehicle was traced and led to a police pursuit. Eventually, the vehicle crashed in Chelsea Probert Park, leading to the driver being taken to a hospital due to sustained injuries. The investigation is currently ongoing, and further details will be released as the case unfolds.
