“The Rutland Winter Light Up is about to spread holiday cheer in an amazing way. Weather is getting colder and the days are getting shorter, but Rutland Centennial Park is set to shine on Saturday, Nov. 25, with family-friendly festivities galore. Local businesses, festive crafts, visits with Santa, and photos with Santa, hot chocolate, hot cider, local artisan markets. Plus, lunch with food trucks, and entertainment from the Kelowna Chiefs make this a not-to-be-missed occasion.
Mayor Tom Dyas will be around to light the Christmas Tree at 4:15 p.m and says, “The Rutland Winter Light Up is the perfect opportunity to come together, share the spirit of the season, and find unique treasures from local artisans. We hope the community will be there to celebrate the festive season together.”
Christina Ferreira, owner of Impact Events and Brand Management has expressed how thrilled they are to be hosting this event, and its expansion in the past few years. According to her, this event is a time for the entire community of the Rutland area to connect, come together, and bring joy to the city’s residents. The Christmas Tree lights will continue to shine brightly the whole month of December, making this event a special treat for the entire community. ”
