Following his most recent head injury during a hockey game, Guest’s mother, Andrea Guest, noticed a noticeable shift in her son’s behavior and mental well-being. His personality changed, he seemed sad all the time, and his concentration levels decreased. This prompted her to reach out to professionals and seek help at Ottawa’s 360 Concussion Care clinic. The clinic soon became a pivotal part of an innovative research program aiming to revolutionize concussion care across North America.

Groundbreaking Research Program

The $5.4-million grant funding, known as the TRANSCENDENT Research Program, has brought together over 20 researchers from more than 15 centers across the continent.
