Saturday, Sept. 30 is National Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. A ceremony to commemorate the day — Remembering the Children — will be held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
The ceremony will “memorialize the children lost to the residential school system and honour survivors and their families.”
The ceremony is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
