A Manhunt continues in Pennsylvania for an escaped inmate police have expanded the perimeter of the search area after multiple sightings of the convicted murderer over the past few days a very intensive search involving hundreds of Law Enforcement Officers involving state-of-the-art technology but we are not sitting in a room

Someplace waiting for technology to solve this in my experience it’ll be solved in one of a number of ways and so you’ve got to approach it with the physical searches as one of the law enforcement officers out there it’s hard enough for them navigating in this in this Terrain in this hot humid

Weather but imagine if you’re being hunted it adds a whole different level of stress as opposed to you’re out there trying to find somebody that level of stress has to be wearing on it we’re not going anyplace until we have him in custody we will continue the matter we

Will certainly evaluate how we’re handling inmates of that level especially murder suspects what we also have to understand that these individuals have certain rights so it’s not a question will we let them out again it’s certainly a question of would I put him back out there with a group of

Other individual or there would be a one-on-one and it would be a one-on-one from this point just as we do in any security related incident we will thoroughly view all of our practices policies and procedures and make improvements as appropriate we are currently formulating plans to enhance security to include

As previously mentioned fully enclosing all outside exercise yards installing additional security cameras adjusting officers positions when inmates are in exercise yards and additional security assets which would enhance overall security of the prison

At a press conference in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, investigators shared video of a fugitive convicted of murder who had escaped a prison seven days earlier, prompting area schools to cancel classes and authorities to expand their search.

In the video, you can see Danelo Cavalcante, 34, “crab walk” up the walls of an outdoor hallway. Prison officials say that once he reached the roof, Cavalcante climbed through razor wire to get outside the prison walls.

Cavalcante has eluded a manhunt since he broke out of the Chester County Prison, about 50 miles (80 km) west of Philadelphia, on Aug. 31. He was waiting to be transferred to a state correctional institution to begin serving a life sentence for killing his ex-girlfriend.

“As one of the law enforcement officers out there, It’s hard enough for them to navigate this terrain in this hot humid weather. But imagine if you’re being hunted, it adds a whole different level of stress, as opposed to you’re out there trying to find somebody that level of stress has to be wearing on him,” Lt. Col. George Bivens of Pennsylvania state police said.

  1. Two prisoners have now escaped using this route. The authorities know this so why haven't they bolted chain link over the top to prevent future escapes? Answer they are state employees getting good pay and a great retirement pension and so they don't feel they should do their jobs!

  2. lol. He deserves to be free after this! Leave him alone, lol. Spider man is real! He got out fair and square, clean! The guard/guards on duty who failed at his/their function should replace him… there will be no more escapee…
