Clean up lasting for hours here’s a look at the scene from our CTV News chopper from earlier this morning as Crews worked to contain the bees and apiary boxes well they Spilled Out onto the road so this happened near Guelph Line North of Dundas just before 7 30 this

Morning at one point police were urging drivers to keep their windows closed when passing by and for pedestrians to also avoid the area now two hours later Halton Regional Police tweeted the majority of the bees had been cleared and safely collected the cleanup wrapping up shortly after that

At this point snow word on how the truck lost its load of bees police say that they will also be leaving some of the crates behind for the remaining bees to naturally return to and are thanking the beekeepers for their overwhelming response for jumping in to help Daryl
