Exactly like in Canada (and USA) : shoot a white guy, nobody bats an eye, shoot a POC drug-dealer who's an illegal, and the entire neighborhood mobilizes out of outrage, loots, and speaks of injustice and police brutality. Keep on looking the other way when they're here, make "safe-cities" where they are welcomed with open arms, without checks or verifications. This is what you get.
